Improving Ecommerce Delivery Experience Through New Inventory Positioning Capabilities

The Estee Lauder Companies aspires to provide consumers with products of superior quality and high-touch consumer experiences across all channels. The focus of this project is to optimize online inventory positioning across U.S. third-party logistics-operated distribution centers where online orders from ELC’s brand sites are currently fulfilled.

The Tauber team aims to ensure that every time an online order is placed, the DC closest to the consumer has the inventory to fulfill in a single shipment. The goal is to improve sustainability, unboxing experience and speed to customers, and reduce operational costs.
