This position is for an execution-minded collaborator who excels in cross-functional Integrations and project management. The Director Program Management is accountable for working closely and managing the Corporate BrandSafway functional teams to ensure the success of all Programs assigned under their supervision. This position requires a strategically minded person that can think creatively to develop strategies and solutions to complex issues. The Director Program Management needs to possess the ability to connect and collaborate in a Matrix to complete multiple ongoing projects simultaneously. Ability to support acquisition of M&A and subsequent integration into an existing business is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for three Project Manager direct reports
  • Full time program management responsibility for any type of restructuring and integration work associated with BrandSafway motorized combination activities and where necessary new acquisitions.
  • Support on synergistic harmonization of ERP systems and business processes
  • Work with Corporate, Division, and Branch teams to restructure, integrate businesses and or P&Ls while reporting on progress and challenges encountered during the process.
  • Make recommendations on how to best combine operations while minimizing disruption to customers and day to day operations.
  • Become knowledgeable on key business process activities and how those activities will change throughout an integration; communicate these changes well in advanced to avoid any type of disruptions to the operation.
  • Ensure all Legal requirements associated with a business migration are documented and completed to support the future business strategy.
  • Develop business cases for all projects.
  • Collect and track associated synergies for any type of activity.
  • Track cross functional activities using a detailed action item register; holding groups accountable for missed deadlines or activities that are delayed.
  • Communicate progress with Business Leader and other senior management as required by the EPMO process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Finance, Business Management, or another technical field preferred
  • 2-5 years relevant experience in Integrations
  • 5 years relevant IT, Marketing, or Finance experience; or 4 years of project management experience
  • Contract/project execution and P&L management experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of project management processes (preferably in the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, and other like industries) to include scheduling techniques, estimating, change management, risk management, and progress reporting methods.
  • Experience in business analysis and management of information systems
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel/Access/Visio experience
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to travel for periods of time, including international where necessary (up to 35%)
  • This position requires an initiative-taking, self-starter who can work remotely when needed. Should possess the ability to manage the daily requirements while being able to execute and communicate progress weekly.
  • Organization, presentation and communication skills are paramount; will have to conduct presentations and discussions weekly with Branch and Business Leadership
  • Experience working with unions a benefit but not necessary.
  • Understand scheduling techniques, estimating, change management, risk management, and progress reporting methods.
  • Be able to demonstrate expert level experience on a personal computer and application software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of databases and database programming concepts and methodology
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
