Community Service Day 2021

-
Location:

Virtual

This year we will volunteer virtually on two different days. We are excited to partner with Detroit Food Academy on Friday, February 12, and with DAPCEP (Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program) and Mend on the Move on Friday, February 19.

Join other Tauber alumni, students, staff, faculty, and Industry Advisory Board members online to help improve the operations of these worthy organizations!

Detroit Food Academy - February 12

The Tauber team will help develop a more robust donor information management system as well as a recommended donor engagement strategy. The team will help Detroit Food Academy research and evaluate donor information management software options, as well as assess how each option can be leveraged to encourage consistent donor engagement with and contributions to the organization.
DAPCEP - February 19

In an effort to assist with Detroit Area Pre-College Engineering Program's expansion into new regions of the United States, the Tauber team will develop and document a financial strategy to guide DAPCEP’s external fundraising efforts and internal funding allocation tactics while pursuing future expansion opportunities.

Mend on the Move - February 19

The Tauber team will recommend solutions to two challenges Mend on the Move is facing. First, to address customer complaints of damaged goods, the team will identify improved packaging that is economical, environmentally friendly, and meets the organization's functional requirements. Second, Mend on the Move’s traditional annual fundraiser has been canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Tauber team will recommend an alternative to the traditional in-person event to engage community focused donors who support Mend on the Move’s mission.
