Vice President, Pharmaceutical Sciences Supply Chain

As Vice President of the Clinical Supply Chain at Pfizer Global R&D, Paul Stuart is responsible for drug product manufacturing, inventory management, import-export, and distribution activities in support of clinical trials conducted by Pfizer, Inc.  Paul has over 18 years experience in the Pharmaceutical R&D industry at Procter and Gamble and Pfizer, including leadership roles in technical product development, marketing, outsourcing management, finance and supply chain management.

Paul currently has global responsibility for all internal R&D drug product manufacturing facilities as well as a broad network of contract service providers in the areas of manufacturing and clinical supplies distribution.  His group supports clinical supplies needs across all phases of development, including pre-registration programs in Phase I-III, and post-marketing Phase IV studies.   

He serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations at the University of Michigan.

Paul’s educational background includes degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration (MBA).
