Doug Mehl is a partner at Kearney and a leader within the Firm’s Automotive, Transportation, and Industrial Practice. Doug has spent the last 12 years helping clients develop winning strategies, drive operations improvements and cost savings efforts across the value chain, support M&A due diligence and post-merger integrations, and drive full P&L turnarounds. Prior to consulting, Doug led the start-up and management of a Private Equity fund focused on Tier 1 and 2 automotive and industrial suppliers in the manufacturing and engineering space. Doug began his career at Ford Motor Company, working across Product Development and Manufacturing, including holding roles as Operations Manager in both domestic and international plants.

Doug serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the Tauber Institute for Global Operations at the University of Michigan. Doug holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State.
