Ford Executive Spoke on "Building Your Personal Brand" at the Ross School

ANN ARBOR, Mich.---Susan Brennan, Director of the Manufacturing Business Office for the Ford Motor Company, presented a talk entitled "Building Your Personal Brand" at 5:00 p.m. December 4 in room E0540 of the Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Abstract:

About Susan Brennan
Susan Brennan is the Director of the Manufacturing Business Office, Ford Motor Company, a position she has held since February 2006.

Previously, Brennan was director of manufacturing with responsibility for Wixom Assembly Plant, Michigan Truck Plant, Wayne Assembly Plant and Twin Cities Assembly Plant. In addition, she had had responsibility for St. Thomas Assembly Plant in Canada and Edison Assembly Plant in New Jersey.

Prior to this assignment, Brennan was plant manager of Edison plant. Previous plant experience includes managing the Chesterfield (Mich.) Trim Plant and managing final assembly area at Wayne Assembly Plant.

Before joining Ford in 1995, Brennan managed a Douglas & Lomason plant in Excelsior Springs, Mo., a Ford seat supplier. She also held an environmental and safety position, where she worked on issues involving stamping and metal coating at a Douglas & Lomason stamping plant in Red Oak, Iowa.

She spent five years as a chemical and biological researcher and conducted a breast cancer epidemiological study at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. She also was a pharmaceutical researcher for Hoescht-Celanese in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Brennan holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska.
