ANN ARBOR, Mich. —Bruce Hettle, Executive Director of Global Vehicle Operations Manufacturing Engineering at the Ford Motor Company, gave a talk on October 14, 2009 at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

About Mr. Hettle

Bruce W. Hettle is the Executive Director of Global Vehicle Operations Manufacturing Engineering at Ford, a position he has held since November 2008. He is responsible for advanced and manufacturing engineering for Ford’s assembly operations around the world.

Hettle joined Ford in 1986 as a process engineer working on vehicle launches. Throughout his career, he has served in manufacturing positions with increasing levels of responsibility, including plant manager at Wayne Stamping and Assembly (2002 – 2004) and Edison Assembly Plant (2000).

Hettle holds a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Oakland University and a master of science degree in engineering management from Wayne State University.
