Alumni Profiles
From the first graduating class in 1994, Tauber alumni have pursued a wide variety of careers in many types of industry. From the traditional manufacturing sector to consulting, finance, and service industries, Tauber graduates carry with them a tradition of excellence, strong leadership, and a diligence for all things lean. Below are a few examples of the interesting career paths taken by some of our graduates.
Piyush Bhargava - MBA ’99 Piyush Bhargava’s career with technology powerhouse Dell, Inc. has taken him around the globe building relationships and leading successful teams. But when this Director of Global Procurement and Operations Engineering needs to recharge, he relies on a close-knit network of friends and colleagues including those he met while earning his MBA at the University of Michigan's Tauber Institute for Global Operations. |

Megan Henry - BSE/MSE IOE '98 If Megan Henry’s life story were ever made into a movie, it would be a serendipitous tale of opportunity meeting preparation. It would include flashbacks of a young Megan hard at work in school, absorbing sage advice, and forging into the business world with confidence and optimism. The saga, thus far, would conclude with Henry leading an international team of Six Sigma Black Belts for Cummins, Inc. |

Eric Peltz - Dual MBA/MS-IOE ‘95 Eric Peltz never imagined he’d be a Wolverine. The Atlanta-raised history buff had set his sights on the U.S. Military Academy at West Point at a young age. Jennifer Tyler - Dual MBA/MSE ‘96 Jennifer Tyler knows a thing or two about dual responsibilities. She can communicate with engineering and business executives alike; design products and motivate those who bring them to life; and conduct an interview while driving down the interstate. “We left Georgia a couple hours ago and are in Tennessee now, heading home to Michigan to visit friends and family,” said Tyler while at the wheel with her family of four in tow.
