From the first graduating class in 1994, Tauber alumni have pursued a wide variety of careers in many types of industry. From the traditional manufacturing sector to consulting, finance, and service industries, Tauber graduates carry with them a tradition of excellence, strong leadership, and a diligence for all things lean. Katherine (Kennedy) Pearce (EGL '03) Rochester Hills native Katherine Kennedy Pearce, EGL ’03, admittedly had a unique childhood full of experiences that helped shape the person that she is today, and that continue to influence the kind of leader she is in her position as Manager of IT at Beaumont Health System in Troy. Bill Reeves - BSE/MSE IOE ‘00 Bill Reeves is a Michigan man. He grew up in Kalamazoo and after high school headed to Ann Arbor where he graduated magna cum laud with a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the University of Michigan. He then earned a Master of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering in 2000 as a Tauber Fellow and wound up back in Michigan working for the iconic Dow Chemical Company in Midland in 2008. Anuj Gupta, ME ‘03 Anuj Gupta, ME ’03, started his professional career in 2000 in Mumbai, India, where he managed a dozen people at a specialty chemical plant. Today, he is Global Manager of Brewery Operations and Strategic Planning for Anheuser Busch Inbev in New York City where his responsibilities include overview of $10B in variable manufacturing costs across four continents. Geoffrey Phillips, MBA ‘98 Geoffrey Phillips, MBA, ’98, leads Product Development for NSTAR, an electric and gas utility company in Boston, Massachusetts. As such, he is focused on energy efficiency for commercial and industrial customers. “My job is to develop new products for targeted customer segments that will enable our customers to reduce their energy consumption. As a utility, we do not actually create the technology, but we have to package it intelligently to meet the needs of the target customers and offer the appropriate incentive to increase the adoption rates of our programs,” Phillips said.
